North American Society for Psychotherapy Research Conference
Burr Oak, Ohio
October 26 - 28, 2006
Please mark your calendar for October 26-28, 2006 for the next meeting of the North American Society for Psychotherapy Research at the Burr Oak Conference center in the beautiful Appalachian foothills of Southeast Ohio. Those dates are near the peak of the fall colors, which draw tourists from all over the region to the Wayne National Forest. Breathtaking overlooks at Cantwell Cliffs, lovely waterfalls at Ash Cave, and a beautiful gorge at Old Man's cave make this area simply spectacular for an afternoon hike. The region also has some of the best mountain and road cycling around! The scientific program for the conference contains approximately 100 presentations, workshops, and discussions on topics such as borderline personality disorder, compassion, evidence based practice, mindfulness, neuropsychology, dreams, hierarchical linear modeling, and countertransference. Continuing education credit will be available through Division 29. Registration fees are modest and cover an opening reception, two dinners, two lunches, and three breakfasts. Highlights of the social program include a banquet with live music and a bonfire.
